I’m thrilled to be able to share these amazing images from Kirsten & Pete’s wedding at Windmill Barn, Dunfermline from 30 July 2016…

Maureen called Steve to chat through her ideas for a order before emailing me with the ideas. They were looking to create arrangements for the wedding venue which was a newly converted barn complex near Edinburgh – www.windmillbarn.co.uk. The wedding decor ‘theme’ was’Bohemian Glamour’ using vibrant tones of bright pink, hot pink, cerise, coral and orange to get a glamorous feel!

To create the look Maureen ordered:

80 stems Miss Piggy Roses
30 stems Hot Pink Bouvardia
50 stems Orange/Coral Freesia
30 stems Cerise Spray Roses
4 bunches Soft Ruscus
30 stems Bupleurum
4 bunches Eucalyptus

Kind words from Maureen:
The flowers were amazing! Stunning actually. High quality blooms, carefully packed and they opened just perfectly for the wedding day. So the advice you offered, and the actual flowers you selected for us, were perfect. We had a friend, who had just completed a week long course at a top London flower school, help us arrange the flowers, but it was a lot of work and my main advice to any DIY brides would be to build in a contingency of more time than you think you might need! Hand-tying all those vase arrangements took ages! We actually had a few extra flowers too, so were able to make extra smaller arrangements to dot around the venue, like in the ladies room. Oh and the venue was wonderful and exactly what my daughter and son-in-law hoped it would be!
